What is CSEdWeek?
Computer Science Education Week is an annual call to action to inspire students to learn computer science, advocate for equity, and celebrate the contributions of students, teachers, and partners to the field.
It’s time to start planning your 2023 Computer Science Education week celebration!
We’re proud to partner with educators, community leaders, and business professionals to develop statewide resources for CS Ed Week!
Activities
When and Where
From the 4th-10th of December 2023
All activities will take place on the CodeJIKA coding platform.
All countries are welcome to take part in the CSEd Week.
You can participate from whichever city/country you are in.
Next Up
- You will receive a digital certificate upon completion.

Teachers - Let's GO!
One of the benefits of using the CodeJIKA program is that teachers don’t need a technical background to get started.
During the 2023 Computer Science Education Week,
All you need to do is:
- Sign up as a teacher on me.CodeJIKA.org and send your Join Code Link to your students and they will all join your class via the code. | Sign up.
- Start all your students with the 5 min Website and then move on to learning how to code a game using KaboomJS.
- Encourage your students to continue with the Projects in your absence.
- Join our Teacher Help WhatsApp Group.

- Pick a school and ask for permission to host an hour of code with students between the 4th-10th of December 2023.
- Download this PDF to read on how to prepare for your big day.
What comes after Computer Science Week?
Your coding journey doesn’t have to end because CS Week is over, you can do the following:
- Complete all your projects on the CodeJIKA platform
- Encourage your siblings, friends and school to sign up on the platform
- Create a coding club with your friends
- If you do not have internet access, you can try out our offline projects.
